Work

Every site here is real and live, with the job we gave it and what we did. We don't show mock-ups, so the list grows one launch at a time.

The Foghorn

The Port Weller Residents Association's monthly newsletter, now online.

The site's job

Put each issue in front of Port Weller residents in a form anyone can read, including people who need larger text or use a screen reader.

What we did

Wrote the job description and built the site around readability, with large type, strong contrast and pages that work with a keyboard. We also produce the newsletter itself.

Mission Thrift Store Silent Auction

A charity thrift store on Scott Street in St. Catharines that puts donated items up for silent auction every month.

The site's job

Get people into the store. Bidding happens in person, so the site lets people browse the month's auction at home and come in ready to bid.

What we did

Designed and built the site to the store's brand guidelines and automated the catalogue. Each month, the site rebuilds itself from one spreadsheet the auction team reviews.
